Less than three weeks to go until the X-Scotia Hike & Fly 2022 kicks off. We will be carefully watching the weather over the coming weeks as we decide the final location where we will hold this year’s race. The organisers have been working away in the background (on non-flyable days of course!) and are super excited to welcome everyone to the event Base Camp soon for another great event this year.
Last weekend at the X-Eryri in Wales, our tech wizard @nylonwing was busy both racing and testing the tracking and scoring systems we will use for the X-Scotia. Everything seems to be working well so far and we have high hopes it will be the same for us in a few weeks time.
Food and beer for the X-Scotia post event social BBQ has been generously donated to us by our headline sponsor Tiso. So whatever the weather might offer, we should have a good party to look forward to on Sunday evening. I would also like to thank to our race partner Top Out Brewery for helping supply the beer for the event. I am sure there will be plenty of thirsty pilots by Sunday evening who will be very appreciative of their contribution!
